The Volpe Center and the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Research and Technology have produced a primer that outlines critical principles and processes that apply to technology transfer in transportation. The core elements of the primer were presented by USDOT Technology Transfer Program Manager Santiago Navarro at the Transportation Research Board’s 2016 Annual Meeting. At that time, Mr. Navarro solicited comments on the draft primer. Thereafter, comments were received and incorporated into a final draft. The final version of the primer is available here.
