Step 1: Review open positions

Step 2: Create an online resume

Create an account and build your resume on www.usajobs.gov. This is a required step for you to apply for any U.S. DOT Volpe Center job. 

You only need to create a resume once, and you can use that resume every time you apply for a job. You may edit your resume at any time.

Step 3: Apply online

Apply online for any U.S. DOT Volpe Center job vacancy through USAjobs.gov

  • Review your application for accuracy and completeness and click “Submit.”

  • You may revise your online application up until 11:59 p.m. Eastern Standard Time of the closing date of the application.
