Eric Falzone
Chief of Human Resources Workforce Acquisition and Staffing Branch
Eric Falzone is the chief of the Human Resources Workforce Acquisition and Staffing Branch. He has been working at Volpe since 2008, starting as an on-site contractor and then being hired within Volpe’s Office of Human Resources in 2009.
With approximately 10 years of experience in the field of HR management, Falzone effectively partners and collaborates with senior leadership and other stakeholders to ensure that HR-wide programs and new initiatives are aligned with Volpe’s vision, values, and best practices.
During his career at Volpe, Falzone has held progressively higher positions leading to his current role as chief of the Workforce Acquisition and Staffing Branch, which he has held since 2013. Falzone has primarily worked in recruitment, staffing, classification and compensation, but also partners with employee and labor relations and workforce planning and development on many topics and initiatives that impact the Volpe workforce. He also serves on workgroups within Volpe and DOT that have focused on topics such as strategic and workforce planning, process improvement, and diversity and inclusion.
Falzone received his bachelor’s degree in business administration with concentrations in human resource management and marketing from Northeastern University.
