Fort McHenry National Monument and Historic Shrine - Shuttle Feasibility Study
In a follow-on effort to the 2004 Alternative Transportation Study, Volpe, The National Transportation Systems Center, conducted a Shuttle Feasibility Study at Fort McHenry National Monument and Historic Shrine (FOMC) to examine service planning options for landside transit, including potential integration with the Baltimore Charm City Circulator. Such a system would be intended to alleviate long-standing, well-documented problems of traffic congestion and overcrowding in the park and along Fort Avenue, the main vehicle access route to the park entrance.
