U.S. DOT to Release SBIR Solicitation February 4

The U.S. DOT’s Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) program, which is administered by Volpe, will release the fiscal year 2014 solicitation for the DOT SBIR program on February 4, 2014. This program seeks innovative proposals from small businesses interested in conducting research needed by the Department’s agencies.

The solicitation contains research topic descriptions from the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and Federal Railroad Administration (FRA). A complete list of research topics and funding levels can be found on the DOT’s SBIR website beginning February 4. The solicitation invites small businesses to submit research proposals on these topics no later than April 4, 2014.
