This project aimed to provide a preliminary feasibility assessment for a bicycle or combined bicycle/pedestrian (i.e., multi-user) facility at Appomattox Court House National Historical Park. Through cooperation with park staff, Virginia Department of Transportation, regional planners, and the Town of Appomattox, the Volpe team presented a range of facility alternatives, as well as the costs and benefits of each.
