The U.S. DOT Volpe Center Seeks Student Interns for 2022

Today, the U.S. Department of Transportation (U.S. DOT) Volpe National Transportation Systems Center (Volpe Center) announced that it is now recruiting talented individuals to fill the following positions as part of its Pathways Internship Program:

  • Operations Research Analysts

Applicant Tips

  • Apply early. Applications will be accepted through usajobs.gov from Tuesday, November 16, 2021 through Wednesday, December 8, 2021.
  • Give detail. Provide a descriptive resume, fully explain your experience.
  • Be thorough. Include all transcripts past and present.
  • Be current. Provide proof of fall 2021 school enrollment.
  • Be specific. As a part of the “Apply Online” process, before you submit your application, you will be asked to specify the occupations for which you are applying. Your application must include documentation that shows you meet individual series and education requirements listed here.

Pathways positions are expected to begin May 2022. However, applications will be accepted for a limited number of positions available as early as January 2022.
