About the Speaker
Rich McArdle began his career with UPS working as an operations employee in Louisville, KY. He was part of the UPS team that initiated International Air Service between the United States and Europe. As an industrial engineer, McArdle developed operating plans for further expansions to Canada, Japan, Southeast Asia, and Central America.
McArdle capped off his Louisville assignment by running UPS’s Import and Export Division. He took on a variety of roles while relocating across the country running air and ground operations, and culminating in his role as the chief operating officer of North and South Carolina.
