National Capital Region Pedestrian and Bicycle Safety and Access Design Concepts

The Volpe Center is providing ad hoc design reviews and concept development for the National Capital Area. Projects focus on pedestrian and bicycle safety and access upgrades within the Capital Area park units.

These design concepts allow NCA to more easily contract design build construction projects that provide safe and convenient access for people using bikes and other micromobility devices, traveling on foot, accessing transit, or using mobility devices.
