Since 1998, the U.S. DOT Volpe Center has met annually with the Royal Netherlands Embassy and its Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management—Rijkswaterstaat—to exchange information, expertise, and innovative ideas. This year’s exchange took place virtually in December 2021, with a focus on energy needs and supply in transportation, social equity in transportation, as well as collaboration and governance.
