Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) Offers Grants to Spur Innovation

Highways for LIFE Technology Partnerships Program seeks prototypes to improve roads

The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) is seeking applications and will award multiple grants in support of the Highways for LIFE Technology Partnerships Program. The solicitation will be open from March 2, 2007 through April 16, 2007. The program anticipates as many as 12 awards at the $200,000 funding level and 3 awards at the $500,000 funding level.

Upcoming 2007 SBIR National Conference: April 30 - May 3

The Spring 2007 SBIR National Conference will be held at the Sheraton Imperial Hotel and Convention Center, conveniently located in Research Triangle Park, NC on April 30 - May 3rd, 2007. Debriefing Requests

After the 2005 Phase I Award Recommendations are posted on the DOT SBIR Program Web Page, a debriefing comprised of the overall comments on the proposal may be provided to the proposer upon request.

Debriefing requests should be submitted to the Contracting Officer by e-mail to: William.H.Moore@volpe.dot.gov, and must include the proposer's name, address, research topic number, and the proposal identification number assigned on the acknowledgement of receipt card. The identity of the evaluators will not be disclosed. (Posted 10/03/05)
