In February 1996, Karen Van Dyke (center) of the Volpe Center attended a meeting in Canberra, Australia with representatives from Airservices Australia to discuss implementation of a RAIM prediction system for that country. Australian officials subsequently signeda contract to proceed with the project, which will become operational by mid-1998.
