Daniel J. Hannon, Ph.D.

Dan Hannon has worked in the field of engineering psychology since 1993. During that time he has held several different scientific, teaching, and consulting positions, including that of engineering psychologist at the Volpe Center. His work for the government includes both flight deck and air traffic control human factors, as well as studies of labels for hazardous materials. He is currently involved in projects related to runway safety and railroad signal human factors.

Dan received his doctoral degree from Brown University in experimental psychology in 1991 where he studied the perception of color. He also completed a two-year post-doctoral fellowship at Syracuse University in cognitive neuro-science and aging.
