Policy and Planning
An important focus of the Volpe Center's work is to provide technical support that enables informed environmental planning and regulatory development. The Center's work assists not only DOT and other federal agencies, but also State, local, and Metropolitan Planning Organizations (MPO's) as well as national and international transportation policies.
