Compliance
Federal agencies must comply with a host of federal, state and local environmental laws and regulations. These requirements may be associated with the operation of federal fleets and facilities, or with agency actions requiring compliance with NEPA. The Volpe Center continues to support agencies with their transportation and associated compliance needs, providing Environmental Assessments and Impact Statements, designing mitigation plans, and representing agency interests through interactions with the public. We also support environmental audits and wide ranging media assessments as demonstrated by the following project activities:
