Infrastructure Engineering and Deployment
The Infrastructure and Facility Engineering Division advances transportation innovation by being leaders in infrastructure technology. Our expertise and experience is vast, including vehicles and vessels, guideways, waterways and port, surface structures and facilities, and systems. We advance the enterprise through development acquisition, modernization, deployment and sustainment; we provide analysis, engineering and project management to implement operational enhancements and improve infrastructure safety and security.
Capabilities
- Resolves operational problems and interface issues associated with system deployment and sustainment.
- Provides technical, analytical, architectural engineering, and project management support for improvements to transportation infrastructure, equipment, facilities, vehicles, vessels and their systems.
- Implements infrastructure and systems modernization plans and programs in support of requirements to improve safety and security.
- Develops systems requirements, evaluates performance, conducts operational tests and manages change to support key transportation systems throughout their lifecycle.
- Performs Business Case and Life Cycle Cost Analysis on system recapitalization.
