David A. Senzig

David A. Senzig

Mr. Senzig has worked for the Volpe Center, both as a contractor and Federal staff, since 1998. In addition to working for the Center, Mr. Senzig has worked for HMMH, the Boeing Company, and his own engineering consulting firm. He has over twenty years of experience with aircraft performance and aircraft environmental issues. He has published articles in the Journal of the Acoustical Society of America and the Noise Control Engineering Journal.

Mr. Senzig has taught courses on the use of the FAA’s Integrated Noise Model in France, the Netherlands, Taiwan, and throughout the United States. He has written specialized computer code to translate aircraft performance parameters into INM-ready input files in support of Part 150 studies, Part 161 studies, Environmental Assessments, and Environmental Impact Studies. Mr. Senzig has worked with Airbus, Boeing, Bombardier, Cessna, Embraer, and Gulfstream on INM database development issues.

Mr. Senzig is a registered professional engineer in Washington and Massachusetts. He is also an instrument-rated private pilot.
